why wait till the devil kick you out

This morning (Thursday) at the High in Jalan Duta while the judge and the counsels took a break in chambers to discuss the fixing of a trail date, I had a chance to talk with the accused Anwar Ibrahim, who is facing a sodomy charge, a second time around, and asked his views on the damning revelation by sacked PRK Bandar Kulim MP Zulkifli Nordin.
Anwar hesitated momentarily then short back saying it was a bit too late to convince the people.
"He should have said it then when the offer was made not now." The former deputy prime minister was referring to Zulkifli's revelations in Parliament two days ago that he was tempted with a lucrative offer to link prime minister najib tun razak and his wife rosmah to the murder of Mongolian Altantuya Shaarribu.
Zulkifli was then defending one of the three accused in the murder, Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri, but discharged himself. He did not give any reason then, nor now.
His Parliament confession that the offer was so good that it nearly shook his faith! Although he declined to name the person or persons who were behind this conspiracy, the very fact that he was saying it just after being sacked from his party leads one to belive that he was referring to elements in his former party.
It is implied that some PKR leaders have tempted him with big money to damage Najib and his wife.
For a true Muslim. like what he claims to be, is it not unIslamic to throw a damaging accusation like that and not name who the pepetrators were. It does not require a genious to fill in the dotted lines.
This is the lowest form of character assasination - to insinuate under Parliamentary immunity that PKR people were involved in tempting him to put the blame on the prime minister and his wife. What is so difficult in saying that it was PKR members if that was true without naming anyone. But this effort requires some moral fibre and fear of Allah's wrath not from someone with little understanding of principles and honour.
We do not know who he was referring to. If it was PKR then Zulkifli is a traitor to Islam becuase he should have disassociated with PKR the moment the devil tempted him with such a handsome reward. Any God fearing person would have fled from the clutches of the devil who was trying to tempt him. You do not wait for the devil to kick you out before telling the whole world that the devil tried to tempt you.
Besides, under the law too it wrong to keep quite when you know a crime was being committed. The very fact that an offer was made, assuming that it was true, then Zukifli should have gone to the police. By not doing this it makes him an accessory to the crime.

Its really sad, This kind of leaders are still around. They shoot out their mouth in Parliament because they know the law can,t get them. They are even willing to swear on the holy book.To show that they are men of god.
